Taking the HiSET® exam and earning your high school equivalency credential is a process that can take up to a year or more. Throughout the process, we're here to support you. If you need help understanding policies, scheduling an appointment, getting your scores or just figuring out the process, contact your test center or HiSET Customer service.

Signing in to your HiSET account

If you need help signing in to your account or resetting your password, call HiSET Customer Service at 1-855-MyHiSET (1-855-694-4738).

In order to confirm your identity, you will need to provide your name, address, date of birth and one of the following:

  • test-taker ID
  • appointment number
  • order number
  • email address
  • last four digits of your Social Security number

Scheduling an appointment

If you need help scheduling your HiSET testing appointment, you can:

  • Contact your test center. Test centers can also help you prepare for the exam and get ready for test day.
  • Contact ETS Customer Service at 1-855-MyHiSET (1-855-694-4738).

If you have a disability or health-related need and require testing accommodations, you must contact ETS Disability Services (see below) to schedule or change your appointment.
